		John (John'O) Crowley NEW [6/23/2008] - Local 483 is saddend to announce the passing of our Brother, Dear Friend and Colleague.  John was well known and well respected  in the Labor Community and will surely be missed by not only his friends in Labor but by his family and friends at Local 483. We love you John'o and you will be missed by all.  Our prayers and thoughts are with John's wife, Charlene and his sons, Christopher and Jimmy.  The family has informed us that an Educational Fund has been established for Christopher and James, John's son.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: John Crowley Memorial Fund c/o Pacific Service Federal Credit Union PO Box 8191 Walnut Creek, California 94596 more

Welcome to the Homepage for Sprinkler Fitters Local 483

For nearly 70 years the Sprinkler Fitters of Local 483 have installed, tested and maintained Commercial and Residential Sprinkler Systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.  We are proud to have installed these necessary life saving and property saving systems that are so important to our way of life.  We take our jobs extremely serious because you only get one opportunity to install these systems properly. For this reason, companies throughout the Bay Area continue to call on us for new and retrofitting projects, but our job does not end there. 

The California State Fire Marshalls office in conjunction with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has strict requirements for the maintenance, inspection, testing and service of these life safety systems.  If you work or live in a facility that does not have these important life saving systems, or need information on maintenance and servicing, please contact us immediately. You never know when a fire could strike your home or business.
